NOAA’s Marine Operations Center, Acquisition Branch is seeking to procure a Kongsberg EK80 calibration kit on a sole-source basis to support calibration of EK80 scientific echosounder systems across the NOAA fleet. The requirement is for one full EK-80 manual calibration kit, including cables, downriggers, a control box, and accessories, to maintain fleet-owned calibration capability for fisheries survey and other scientific missions. The kit is intended to improve readiness and data quality by allowing calibrations during pre-season readiness periods and maintenance windows, with delivery to NOAA Ship Oregon II at the Gulf Marine Support Facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Expected delivery is 4 weeks after receipt of order, anticipated April 30, 2026, and firms that believe they can meet the requirement may submit substantiating documentation by email, with capability statements due by 1600 PDT on April 13, 2026 under announcement number 1333MK26Q0054.
