Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Indian Health Service’s OMAS Strategic Buying Center for Information Technology, is seeking Indian Economic Enterprise and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise sources for secure exchange data software for the Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. The work centers on a secure data exchange and clearinghouse solution that connects to Medicare DDE/FISS, verifies third-party eligibility, processes claims and claims status for Medicare, Medicaid, VA, and commercial payers, and provides reporting or dashboard monitoring for monthly usage. The solution must support SFTP, EDI, and Telnet, operate 24/7 without requiring software installation on the IHS network, allow unlimited workstation-independent users, and comply with HIPAA, CMS, and AHA requirements under a Business Associate Agreement.
