The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Philadelphia, is seeking to procure turbine rotor blades under National Stock Number 0R-2840-017139884-B8 and Reference Number 5145T41P02. The contract requires the delivery of 1,442 units with shipping terms of FOB Origin. Because this is a flight-critical item and the government lacks the technical data to support full and open competition, source approval is required prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources are solicited, and unapproved sources must submit a comprehensive source approval request package alongside their proposal to be considered.
