Request for Information (RFI) for Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) Capability Modernization, Deployment, and Support (CMDS)
The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Navy's Fleet Readiness Center, has issued a Sources Sought notice for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the modernization, deployment, and support of Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) capabilities. The LOG IT portfolio consists of over 300 afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with over 150,000 users across various Naval Systems Commands and Naval Operational Forces. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information from highly qualified and experienced naval LOG IT capability providers to execute CMDS tasks for the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of modernized LOG IT capability solutions to the fleet. The acquisition approach includes the establishment of a flexible and agile Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award contract (MAC) vehicle to enable rapid procurement of technical services. The CMDS tasks are divided into three lots: Capability Modernization, Operations Support Planning and Sustainment, and Afloat Installation. Interested respondents are requested to submit a capabilities white paper addressing specific requirements outlined in the RFI. The deadline for responses is February 13, 2024.
