Z--Tree Removal & Replacement
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking a contractor for a total small business set-aside project to remove and replace diseased trees at the S.O. Conte Research Laboratory in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. The selected contractor must safely remove 11 diseased Black Ash trees, grind the stumps, perform utility checks and soil analysis, and install 11 replacement Thornless Honey Locust trees that are a minimum of six feet tall. Work must be completed within 60 days of award, and the contractor must provide off-site debris disposal, manage initial watering, and provide a one-year tree survival warranty. Selection will be based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation.
