The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, is seeking a contractor to procure metal bars for use in critical shipboard systems. Deliverables include special emphasis nickel-copper alloy bars conforming to QQ-N-281 specifications, including round bars of varying finishes and conditions, along with associated inspection, testing, and certification reports. To support Level I and SUBSAFE systems, the contractor must maintain strict material traceability and configuration control, utilize a certified quality system such as ISO-9001 or MIL-I-45208, and conduct required ultrasonic testing.
