The U.S. Department of Agriculture, specifically the Forest Service, is seeking feedback through a Request for Information (RFI) for the Bumblebee Revised Stewardship Integrated Resource Service Contract (IRSC) project. The initiative aims to mitigate risks associated with insect and disease infestations, wildfires, and to enhance forest vegetation and water quality across approximately 4,000 gross acres in Strawberry, California. The project anticipates offering over 15 million board feet of commercial timber and 8,000 cubic feet of biomass, with services including road maintenance, timber removal, and low-value stand treatments. Interested parties are invited to an informational meeting and site visit on October 23, 2025, and written responses to the RFI are due by October 30, 2025, at 5:00 P.M. Pacific.
