Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, intends to issue a sole-source solicitation for the repair and modification of signal data recorders used on F/A-18 aircraft. The scope of work requires the repair of thirty-six units of National Stock Number 7R-5895-013825123-GF, Part Number 136779-1. Because the government does not own the necessary technical data, DRS Laurel Technologies is the only approved source, and any unapproved firms must submit a Source Approval Request to be considered.
