NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) has issued a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source purchase order to ANSYS, Inc. of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Under this proposed agreement, ANSYS, Inc. will provide a one-year lease for one exclusive license of Ansys Mechanical Enterprise software. This procurement is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for purchases under the $250,000 threshold, classified under NAICS code 513210 (Software Publishers) and Product Service Code 7B22. While the NRL intends to proceed with a sole-source award, interested parties may submit capability statements demonstrating that a competitive procurement would be advantageous to the government.
