The Department of the Navy, through MCRD Parris Island, is conducting a sources sought market research effort to identify small businesses able to supply utility task vehicles. The requirement is for four UTVs, with salient characteristics provided for the minimum acceptable vehicle configuration. Those characteristics include a liquid-cooled 4-stroke single-cylinder 550–650cc engine, AWD/2WD capability, capacity for six personnel, a bed box sized 3 feet by 4.5 feet by 1 foot with 500-pound capacity, 1,500-pound tow rating, 10.5 inches of ground clearance, and green color. The place of performance is Parris Island, South Carolina, and interested vendors are asked to submit their Cage Code/Unique Entity Code and socio-economic status information to Steven Kirk by 1:00 PM EST on 26 May 2026.
