INDUSTRY DAY FOR GROUP 1 AND GROUP 2 UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEM (UAS) TRAINING, MISSION PLANNING, MISSION REHEARSAL, SIMULATION, AND QUALIFICATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Navy, under the Naval Air Systems Command and Aircraft Project Management Office, is conducting market research to identify commercially available and emerging Group 1 and Group 2 Unmanned Aircraft System training, mission planning, mission rehearsal, simulation, and qualification management systems. The government requires solutions that can support Navy and Marine Corps operators across key capability areas, including tactical flight fidelity simulation, realistic global terrain environments, and simulated contested environments featuring electronic warfare and GPS-denied operations. This market research effort is structured in phases spanning late FY26 to mid-FY27, progressing from an initial Industry Day to a Request for Information for white papers and potential hands-on technical demonstrations. The virtual Industry Day is tentatively scheduled for September 3, 2026, and interested parties must submit follow-up questions by September 17, 2026, to the NAVAIR Procurement Group at fosuas_industry_day@us.navy.mil.
