RFI NBSFS Boresite Tower Charrette

The Department of the Air Force's Request for Information (RFI) seeks to gather market research and acquisition planning support for the Boresite Tower Charrette project at New Boston Space Force Station, NH. This initiative involves the demolition and relocation of a 1971-installed ROHN Industries Model 65 tower, Land Mobile Radio equipment, and potentially other supporting infrastructure. The project aims to identify communication coverage requirements, assess future 5G cellular capabilities, develop demolition and relocation strategies, propose equipment and methods for demolition, and create a solid and hazardous materials removal plan, including lead-based paint. Additionally, it will analyze and develop requirements for new and existing communication infrastructure and consider battery/generator backup options. The RFI is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee a contract award. Responses, due by August 15, 2025, will help determine if the effort will be a small business set-aside and should include a Letter of Interest, organizational contact information, and details on past relevant work or existing government contracts.
