Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, is seeking sources to provide Retinal Ophthalmology Services at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. The selected contractor will deliver comprehensive ophthalmology care, including intravitreal injections, laser treatments, and pre- and post-treatment evaluations, during a monthly clinic handling approximately 30 patient consultations, 5 laser treatments, and 10 injections per clinic day. Contractor physicians must be board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmologic medicine, hold an unrestricted United States medical license, and undergo federal background screenings. The resulting contract is anticipated to have a 12-month base period with four 12-month option years.
