RFI: Army Digital Engineering (DE) Ecosystem
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, through the Army Systems Engineering & Architecture, is seeking information from industry to help shape a consolidation strategy for Digital Engineering tools, services, and licenses. Respondents are asked to address specific problem statements concerning tool proliferation, disparate systems, locked data, and the lack of a common repository for model-based systems engineering and architecture data. The scope focuses on the Engineering & Manufacturing Development and Technology Maturation & Risk Reduction portions of the acquisition lifecycle, while excluding additive manufacturing, logistics, supply, and sustainment. The effort is centered at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, and aims to consolidate the Army's digital engineering systems without disrupting ongoing program manager execution or causing vendor lock-in. Responses must be submitted through a designated online form, and registration is required for an associated Industry Day scheduled for August 20, 2026.
