Ralston Island, AK Remedial Action and GWM

The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking a small-business contractor to provide engineering services for remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater sampling at the former FAA Range location on Ralston Island, Alaska. The work includes preparing a soil remediation and sampling work plan, conducting soil and groundwater sampling, remediating impacted areas, and handling associated waste characterization, removal, and disposal. The effort must follow applicable laws and Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation guidance, include a site health and safety plan, and account for conditions such as DRO contamination at SP9, sampling of six monitoring wells, and at least one on-site person certified in First Aid/CPR.
