Biomedical Inspections and Equipment Maintenance for Monacan Service Unit

The Department of Health and Human Services, Indian Health Service, is seeking a contractor to provide biomedical inspection and preventative maintenance services for the newly built Monacan Health Center in Madison Heights, Virginia. The contractor will perform annual calibration, preventative maintenance, and as-needed repair services on a comprehensive list of medical and dental equipment, including exam tables, vital sign monitors, and dental x-ray systems. To qualify, certified technicians must ensure all equipment meets original equipment manufacturer specifications, ANSI/AAMI standards, NFPA 99, and Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care guidelines. The resulting award will be a firm-fixed-price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract featuring a 12-month base period and four 12-month option years, to be evaluated under a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable methodology.
