The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking a contractor for the demolition and replacement of the Medium Intensity Approach Lighting System with Rail at the Houma-Terrebonne Airport in Louisiana. The contractor will be responsible for decommissioning the existing system, installing a new government-furnished Patriot MALSR system and prefabricated shelter, constructing concrete foundations and access roads, and installing electrical cabling and ducts. Work must be completed in phases within 365 days of the Notice to Proceed, adhering to a strict Construction Safety and Phasing Plan, and requires the contractor to engineer sheet pile retaining walls and manage hazardous materials compliance. Proposals must be submitted by July 31, 2026, and must include a 20% proposal guarantee, two Organizational Experience Questionnaires, and active SAM registration.
