Notice of Intent to Sole Source: C-Band Doppler Radar Life Cycle Components

The U.S. Army Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to Enterprise Electronics Corporation (EEC) for proprietary life-cycle replacement components for the C-Band Doppler Radar. This procurement supports the Meteorological Branch, West Desert Test Center (WDTC), DPG, and is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.103-1 and FAR 12.102(a). The C-Band Doppler Radar is a mission-essential asset providing critical meteorological data. EEC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and possesses exclusive proprietary technical data and specialized manufacturing processes, making them the only source that can meet the government's requirements for technical compatibility and OEM authorization. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, responsible sources believing they can meet the requirements may submit a capability statement to Laurel Brown by May 26, 2026.
