ETF Hygrometers
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force's Air Force Test Center at Arnold Air Force Base is seeking sources capable of supplying nine commercially available dew point hygrometers. Vendors must provide instruments utilizing a primary-method, multi-stage chilled mirror sensor that delivers drift-free, continuous dew and frost point temperature measurements. To meet technical requirements, the equipment must feature a 19-inch rack-mountable console, support remote sensor installation up to 250 feet, cover a dew and frost point range of −70 °C to +95 °C with an accuracy of ±0.2 °C or better, and include a NIST-traceable calibration certificate from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. While the government has identified the Edgetech Instruments part number DM-PMDM-X3SF-STD-RC(250FT.)-AFSP as a baseline model, alternative "or equal" commercially available products are acceptable. Interested parties must submit their company details, proposed technical solution, a budgetary estimate, and estimated delivery timeline to Alexia Wood and Brooke Vandeman via email by 1:00 PM Central Time on July 17, 2026.
