The Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing a power cable assembly identified by NSN 6150-01-685-8736 and part number 285923-2. Qualified vendors must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment required to complete the manufacturing process, which includes procuring component parts, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, managing long-lead time parts procurement, and addressing diminishing manufacturing sources.
