J--Analytical Spectral Device Maintenance Contract

This Sources Sought Notice is a market survey issued by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing ongoing maintenance, support, and extended warranty services for four SciAps, Inc./Malvern Panalytical Inc. brand Analytical Spectral Devices (ASD) reflectance spectrometers. The selected contractor must be an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorized provider capable of performing annual preventive maintenance, diagnostics, proprietary software updates, and repairs using OEM-trained technicians and proprietary parts. Most repairs must occur at the OEM facility in Westborough, MA, with a turnaround time of 10 to 30 days. This market research aims to determine if the acquisition can be set aside for small businesses—specifically Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE), HUBZone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, or general small businesses—under NAICS code 811210, which has a size standard of $34 million. Interested and qualified firms must submit a capability statement, company information (including SAM UEI number), size status, and recent relevant performance history.
