10--CAMO CVR UPR BARREL

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting proposals for the manufacture of the Periscope Camouflage Cover Upper Barrel Assembly #32 for use on Navy submarines. The contracted supplier must perform design, manufacturing, welding, sandblasting, and comprehensive testing of the assembly in accordance with NAVSEA Document PS4491223 and Drawing 4491223. This procurement requires First Article Testing and 100% production lot testing, and materials must be completely mercury-free. Due to the sensitive nature of the camouflage material, contractors must possess a government security clearance to handle confidential items and submit classified quantitative electrical test results directly to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport. All deliverables under this contract must be completed by the extended delivery date of December 23, 2026.
