Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency’s DLA Maritime-Puget Sound is soliciting extended welders’ gloves for use at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The requirement is for 250 pairs that meet specified material and construction standards, including side-split cowhide, aluminized Mylar lining, and Kevlar thread, and be equal to or branded as Steiner Industries P/N 02128. The contract calls for FOB Destination Bremerton, destination inspection and acceptance at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Wide Area WorkFlow invoicing, ASTM-D-3951 marking and packaging, and compliance with applicable FAR and DFARS provisions, including NIST SP 800-171 assessment requirements where applicable. Delivery is required by July 31, 2026, and completed signed solicitations must be submitted via email or fax to be considered responsive.
