River Velocity Meter for the Carson National Forest

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service is soliciting quotes for the purchase and delivery of a river velocity meter for the Carson National Forest. The required equipment will enable watershed specialists and hydrologists to measure river and stream flow rates to determine water availability for future projects. Technical requirements specify a river velocity meter that meets or exceeds specifications including a display unit with embedded GPS, Bluetooth capability, an integrated recorder, a wading rod, a 2D detachable probe, and a minimum operating depth of 0.02 meters. Delivery to Taos, New Mexico is required within 30 days of award, and the agency will evaluate offers using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable process.
