Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration is conducting a sources sought notice for its Technology Transfer Program to gather market research on vendors that can provide the support services described in the Statement of Objectives. The work supports FTA’s efforts to maximize deployment and adoption of research and technology products in the public transportation industry through development and execution of a Technology Transfer Plan, research dissemination and commercialization support, and related outreach and knowledge-sharing activities. The anticipated scope includes managing research report production, maintaining research inventories and databases, tracking patents, and providing data collection, analysis, reporting, and training materials, with performance measured by timeliness, quality, responsiveness, and stakeholder engagement. The contractor is expected to furnish its own facilities, and the anticipated period of performance is one 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods. Interested firms must submit a technical capability statement package of no more than 15 pages by electronic mail to the listed contacts by 12:00 noon EST on May 19, 2026.
