The Mississippi Valley Division of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening to obtain innovative commercial products, technologies, and services for civil works requirements and capability gaps. The solicitation targets areas including maintaining channel dimensions, navigation structure materials and repair methods, above- and below-water imaging, locating subaqueous subsurface objects, sedimentation prediction modeling, navigation and flood risk management project delivery, and non-structural dry floodproofing. It uses a two-step process in which offerors first submit solution briefs and, if selected and funded, may proceed to a request for proposals; selections will consider innovation, feasibility, mission effectiveness, and funding availability, and any resulting contracts will be firm-fixed price. Submissions are limited to three pages, must include a technical description and estimated price, and must be submitted electronically by May 31, 2027.
