Drone Parts

This document outlines the salient characteristics for drone parts sought for the procurement and assembly of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), providing broad descriptions to industry partners. The requirements are categorized into five primary areas: Internals, which includes parts for flight enablement and data transmission like flight controllers and GPS units; Power, covering propulsion systems such as motors, batteries, and propellers; Payload, for mission-specific equipment carried by the aircraft but not essential for flight, including cameras and sensors; Ground Control, for parts used to control the aircraft from the ground like controllers and FPV goggles; and Assembly, encompassing all parts used for aircraft construction, such as bolts, nuts, and tools. Each category provides examples of generic and name-brand variants, indicating a comprehensive need for various components to support UAS development.
