The Department of Veterans Affairs, through RPO East, is seeking a contractor to provide blood assays for Alzheimer’s research and related study support. The work centers on specialized APOE and pTau217 testing of blood samples to help distinguish normal aging from preclinical Alzheimer’s disease and support analysis of age-related cognitive decline. The requirement calls for a contractor with proven experience in these assays, a valid CLIA certificate, and the ability to return results within 15 days of sample receipt, with an estimated workload of about 25 samples per year over a three-year period of performance from June 22, 2026, to June 21, 2029.
