ISO Spreader Bar Inspection, Testing and Certification Services

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, intends to award a firm-fixed-price sole-source contract for inspection, testing, and certification services. The selected contractor will perform inspection, proof-load testing, and certification of four government-owned ISO container spreader bars. Work must be conducted in Guam in accordance with NAVFAC P-307 requirements, utilizing specialized testing fixtures and historical test and calibration data. The Navy plans to issue this award to Island Search Corporation, an SBA-certified HUBZone small business concern, but will consider capability statements from other HUBZone firms to determine if competition is appropriate.
