Dual Wavelength Coated Ultra High Reflectivity Mirrors
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Institute of Standards and Technology’s Quantum Measurement Division is seeking market information for dual-wavelength coated ultra high reflectivity mirrors to support primary acoustic measurement systems. The requirement is for twelve dual-band high-reflectivity mirrors that meet specified optical and substrate characteristics, including performance at 1560 nm and 390 nm and a backside anti-reflection coating. The mirrors are to be used at normal incidence and must meet tight reflectivity, loss, diameter, thickness, and radius-of-curvature requirements for integration into NIST’s measurement work in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This is a sources sought notice, and interested firms are asked to respond by email with company, capability, and past-performance information, while questions are due by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 22, 2026.
