SOLE SOURCE – WRA-9 UPGRADE

Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division, within the Department of the Navy, is pursuing a sole-source procurement to support upgrade work on WRA-9 units and continue existing performance for mission requirements. The effort covers a firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract to convert WRA-9 P/N A4D0201-3 units to the ASE configuration (P/N A4D0201-5) and the LBDR configuration (P/N A4D0201-6). The action is justified as sole source to Crane Electronics under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 because the Government does not have a complete technical data package, and the requirement is not set aside for small business. The amendment extends the period of performance from 26 July 2027 to 26 July 2030 with no change to the contract ceiling, and offers must be submitted in the solicitation-specified format to the NSWC Crane point of contact, Devin Wilson.
