Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Air Force Research Laboratory’s Rocket Science and Technology Division is seeking an open Advanced Research Announcement for research and development in rocket science and technology to mature technologies for national defense. The scope covers white papers and proposals for work in Ground and Flight Experiments, Missile System Technologies, Space System Technologies, and Novel Approaches to Mission and Digital Engineering, with deliverables that may include scientific reports, software, and hardware. This is a two-step open ARA with a 10-year open period, place of performance in Edwards, California, and an emphasis on advancing technologies to appropriate technology readiness levels; foreign entities are excluded and participants must be registered with JCP and SAM. White papers are limited to five pages and may be submitted at any time, with full proposals requested from selected white papers or under specific Government calls, and the maximum single award value is currently no more than $500 million.
