The Department of the Interior’s Wildland Fire Programs at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise, Idaho is seeking a firm-fixed-price construction contract to renovate the 410A-ITS facility and bring the space up to current operational and code requirements. The work includes interior wall modifications, selective demolition, replacement of lighting, floor and ceiling finishes, coordination with modular furniture layouts, and related mechanical and electrical changes. The project is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 236220, with Davis-Bacon Act wages applicable, Buy American Act materials required, and performance planned at the NIFC campus at 3833 S. Development Ave in Boise over an estimated 220-day period, with the building unoccupied for up to 180 days. The RFP is expected on or about June 2026 on SAM.gov and will be posted for 30 days; offerors must be registered in SAM, and award will be made on a best-value basis.
