Contract Opportunity Analysis
Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, on behalf of the Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center, is planning an Industry Day to brief industry and support event planning and travel. The event is expected to cover public-private partnerships and a JMTC capabilities and requirements briefing, including RIA-JMTC background, steel and aluminum forecasts, equipment and automation, external support, and informational resources, followed by networking and one-on-one discussions. It is tentatively scheduled to be held at Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois, and visitors without a CAC must register at the Rock Island Arsenal Visitor Center with acceptable identification; the access form is recommended to speed entry, and non-DoD/US Government visitors are subject to a criminal records check. Vendors register through the posted online form, registrations are due May 26, 2026, and the posting notes the event is planned for June 4, 2026, with one-on-one sessions and future site-tour interest available through the form.
