B-52 ARC-260
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, specifically the Air Force, is conducting market research through a Request for Information (RFI) for the B-52 ARC-260 Engineering, Manufacturing, and Development (EMD) program. The objective is to identify potential sources capable of integrating a modernized HF radio system into the B-52 platform, replacing the legacy AN/ARC-190 system, to address diminishing manufacturing sources and ensure continued beyond-line-of-sight communications. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational capabilities and enhancing communication systems within military fixed-wing aircraft. Interested U.S. DoD contractors, particularly small businesses, are encouraged to respond with their capabilities, with submissions due 15 days after the RFI release.
