X1DB--Santa Cruz Outpatient Clinic, New Procurement Lease Package
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to lease space for a new Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Santa Cruz, California. The VA requires 13,000 to 15,500 American National Standards Institute/Building Owners and Managers Association square feet of contiguous space, not to exceed 20,000 rentable square feet, along with up to 55 secured surface parking spaces. The facility must reside outside the 100-year floodplain, satisfy Facility Security Level II standards, and be proposed under either a 15-year firm/20-year full-term lease or a 20-year firm-term lease. Proposals will be evaluated under a best-value trade-off methodology, with technical factors such as architectural quality weighted more heavily than price. Initial offers are due by 5:00 PM PDT on October 26, 2026, and written requests for information must be submitted to the agency's broker, Caitlin Cunningham, by September 25, 2026.
