Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, part of the Department of Defense, is seeking a contractor to manufacture and distribute Pilot’s Clipboard under NSN 8465-01-578-6430. The work calls for production in accordance with DWG 823AS300, with all materials contractor furnished, and deliveries made to Travis Association for the Blind in Austin, Texas; Peckham Inc. in Lansing, Michigan; and Lion Vallen Industries in Pendergrass, Georgia. The procurement will use lowest-price technically acceptable source selection, is set aside 100% for small business, and calls for FOB destination delivery with inspection and acceptance at source, with a four-year ordering period, tiered pricing, a guaranteed minimum of 600 each, and an estimated annual quantity of 2,400 each. The solicitation is expected to be posted on DIBBS on or after June 1, 2026, and registration through SAM and DIBBS is required for access.
