CCU-189/B Impulse Cartridge (DODIC JP40)

The Department of Defense, through the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to Applied Energy Technology Corp. (AETC) for the manufacture of the CCU-189/B Impulse Cartridge (DODIC JP40). The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and facilities to produce the sub-assemblies and cartridges, as well as conducting required testing and inspections as outlined in the Technical Data Package (TDP). This cartridge is critical for meeting government performance and safety standards, including HERO-Safe requirements, and is essential for operational readiness.
