B268 Replace STUS Backup Generator

The Department of the Air Force, 14th Contracting Squadron at Columbus Air Force Base, is seeking a contractor to replace the backup generator serving the B268 Simulator Training Facility. Under this design-build project, the contractor must decommission and demolish the existing 30 kW generator, fuel tank, and transfer switch, and subsequently design and install a new 277/480V 45 kVA generator with a load bank, a 250-gallon belly fuel tank, a new automatic transfer switch, and integrated EMCS monitoring. Work must be completed within 180 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, and the solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside evaluated on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. Proposals are due electronically by September 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time, with an estimated project value between $100,000 and $250,000.
