The Department of the Army’s Watervliet Arsenal is seeking a buyer for the sale and removal of surplus mixed metal scrap from its facility in Watervliet, New York. The lot is described as approximately 1,000,000 pounds of mixed metals, including machine tool parts and other miscellaneous metals such as iron, steel, stainless steel, and tin, sold as is on an all-or-nothing basis. The contractor must accept the scrap without on-site sorting, provide covered roll-off dumpsters or boxes as needed, handle freight and shipping losses, and coordinate loading and pickup under the Arsenal’s removal procedures. Proposals must be submitted on SF 114A-C to Lauren A. Scripps by email, are due by 4:00 PM Eastern on May 15, 2026, and the successful contractor must pay through pay.gov within 5 days of invoice and before scrap removal.
