The work involves as-needed supply of radiopharmaceutical doses and related items, with injections delivered in plastic syringes and transported in shielded containers in compliance with applicable Department of Transportation requirements. Vendors must be licensed by the NRC and FDA and authorized to manufacture and distribute radiopharmaceuticals in North Carolina, and the requirement includes defined normal, emergency, and stat delivery response times at the Fort Bragg location.
