The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE) is offering a cooperative agreement for natural resource management education and training opportunities at the Bonneville Lock and Dam, located in Oregon and Washington. This initiative aims to engage a qualified non-Federal public entity or nonprofit organization to provide land stewardship and restoration services, while also facilitating educational and training programs for local community participants, particularly those involved in community service or low-security inmate programs. The cooperative agreement, which has an estimated total funding of $220,000 and an award ceiling of $220,000, is intended to implement best practices in environmental stewardship and maintenance of public lands, with a focus on activities such as vegetation management, park maintenance, and trail construction.
