The Department of the Army, through the US Army Medical Research and Development Command (USAMRAA), is offering the Spinal Cord Injury Research Program Clinical Translation Research Award (SCIRP CTRA) to support innovative clinical research addressing spinal cord injuries (SCI) among military Service Members and Veterans. This grant aims to fund high-impact projects that may require feasibility or pilot studies before larger clinical trials, with a focus on improving the standard of care and contributing to evidence-based guidelines for SCI management. Approximately $4.16 million is available for funding, with up to $1.25 million allocated per project, and the application process consists of a pre-application due by May 20, 2024, followed by a full application due by August 30, 2024.
