The Bureau of Global Public Affairs is offering a cooperative agreement to establish Ukrainian eSports Counter Disinformation Teams and Tournament. The initiative aims to leverage the popularity of video games in Eastern Europe by developing an eSports program at American Spaces in Ukraine, where athletes will receive professional training alongside counter disinformation and conflict resolution training to combat foreign propaganda in competitive gaming environments. This project will culminate in an eSports tournament and coalition-building event, with a total funding amount of $250,000 and an expected award ceiling of $250,000.
