The U.S. Mission to Zambia is inviting proposals for the 2025 Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) Grants Program, aimed at preserving cultural heritage in Zambia and globally. Eligible applicants, including government ministries of culture, NGOs, museums, and higher learning institutions, are encouraged to submit concept notes for projects that support the preservation of archaeological sites, historic monuments, and traditional cultural expressions. The funding awards will range from $25,000 to $500,000, with a deadline for concept note submissions set for December 27, 2024, and a subsequent full application deadline of March 28, 2025.
