The Department of Transportation (DOT), through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), is offering approximately $1 billion in discretionary grants for the FY 2025 Airport Terminal Program (ATP) under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL). The ATP aims to provide funding for airport terminal and airport-owned Airport Traffic Control Towers development projects, addressing the aging infrastructure of the nation’s airports while aligning with the DOT's strategic priorities. Eligible applicants include public agencies, private entities, state agencies, Indian Tribes, and others owning public-use National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) airports, with grant amounts ranging from $25,000 to $970 million. Interested parties must submit their applications by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on July 31, 2024, and can direct inquiries to the appropriate FAA Regional Office or contact Jesse Carriger at (202) 267-3263 or via email at 9-ARP-BILAirports@faa.gov for further assistance.
