The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is offering a cooperative agreement opportunity titled "Creative Forces NEA Military Healing Arts Network (Clinical Component)" aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of military and veteran populations affected by trauma. The selected organization will manage the Clinical component of the Creative Forces program, which focuses on increasing access to clinical creative arts therapies and community arts engagement for service members, veterans, and their families. This initiative is critical in addressing the mental health needs of these populations through the arts, and the funding available for this program is set at $5 million, with a project duration of up to 24 months starting no earlier than March 1, 2025. Interested applicants, specifically private institutions of higher education, must submit their proposals by July 16, 2024, and can reach out to the NEA Web Manager at webmgr@arts.gov for further information.
