The Department of the Army through USAMRAA is offering the FY26 Spinal Cord Injury Research Program Clinical Translation Research Award to advance spinal cord injury research into clinical use and improve decision-making for patients, clinicians, care partners, and policymakers. The award supports new or emerging clinical research that needs additional preliminary work such as feasibility, pilot, or optimization studies to prepare for larger clinical trials or implementation, and applications must include at least two SCI community partners. The program is expected to fund about three awards totaling approximately $6.12 million, with a maximum performance period of three years, and it includes an early-career partnership option with two principal investigators if at least one is early-career.
