The Department of the Army’s USAMRAA, through the Defense Health Agency’s Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs, is offering the FY26 Spinal Cord Injury Research Program Clinical Trial Award to support clinical trials aimed at improving the treatment or management of spinal cord injury. The award is intended for rapid implementation work with potential for significant impact and aligns with near-term priorities in acute injury intervention, secondary health effects, psychosocial well-being, and rehabilitation and regeneration. Applications must include at least two spinal cord injury community partners, may use the Early-Career Partnership Option with two principal investigators if at least one is early-career, and can support a performance period of up to four years.
