The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is offering the FY24 Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grants to support the development of comprehensive revitalization plans for severely distressed public housing and surrounding neighborhoods. Eligible applicants, including Public Housing Agencies, local governments, Tribal Entities, and nonprofits, are invited to create Transformation Plans that align with the program's core goals of improving housing, enhancing community well-being, and fostering neighborhood development. With an estimated total program funding of $10 million and an award ceiling of $500,000, HUD anticipates making approximately 20 awards. Interested applicants must submit their proposals by June 10, 2024, and can direct inquiries to ChoiceNeighborhoods@hud.gov for further information.
